Patterns

The other day I´ve been asked about family constellations. The base for this is the work of Bert Hellinger, a German psychotherapist. My teacher has been educated to do family constellations and has throughout the years made some adaptions to fit her mode of work.

Basically it is about the emotional patterns of behaviour every family has developped over generations. It is in the genes and I can tell you from personal experience, even facts and of course emotions that never have been even said aloud weigh twice in influencing our emotional heritage.

Everyone is able to participate, you need no special education. The main person who wants to work on a personal conflict is intuitively choosing the persons who will fill in the role of their family members. The energetic field is what is connecting all of us always. And this is the reason why a representative who never met members of this family can feel what the person felt when a conflict emerged. This energetic connection traces the incidents which lead to lets say emotional traumas and healing work can be done. It is a work of love and compassion all participants do. And it is a relief for the one who is asking why things happened. Often events are being traced back two or more generations. The results, the awareness shows effect instantly and the healing energies fan out through a period of up to eight months. Don´t talk, don´t discuss with anybody afterwards except your therapist. What had to be done has been done and the energy is working.

There are things to think about also for those who „just“ represented a role in a „play“... let me tell you the role has to do something with yourself. Now is the chance to look and become aware of it.
The patterns of human behaviour repeat from some point but that said everyone finds oneself in different stages of development. This work can stir up one´s feelings and be exhausting but it is worth every minute and brings inner peace. And we get closer to our very selves.
