This is my first inkjet transfer on polymer clay with translucent liquid sculpey as a transfer medium.
I followed directions from Donna Kato´s new book.
Also found that my baking temperature had been too low which had caused brittle pieces in the past. This is now history....... I made six pendants of these.
The image is stamped on a watercolor background and colored in with gel pens , then scanned and printed on clay coated paper.
Made from polymerclay this time. For the blue-silver-black ones I followed a faux moss agate tutorial
by Desiree McCrorey but changed the colors.
The two others were going to be some Mokume Gane experiments that went out of control and I decided to make beads from the accident.

For ages I´ve been wanting to be able to work with wire to achieve a more professional look of embellishments in my art. Now I had the opportunity to participate in this workshop and do practise my way through Sharilyn Miller´s book Bead on a Wire which teaches from basic wire handling to ancient techniques. Sharilyn doesn´t solder her jewelry which is a big plus for me because I know of quite a few women who are allergic or very sensitive to certain metals. Actually I think there are no such moments called by chance but I´m so glad I found the ArtistsoftheRoundTable, a very friendly and caring yahoogroup. Workshops are run on a regular basis working thru artists´books.
This project needed some preparations like finding resources, getting the tools and the materials.
We have been in week 3 now and it´s so much fun...
This is an experiment I wanted to make with chalk on acrylics... I made the background collage with newspapers and acrylic colors and then wanted to draw a lotus flower or waterlilly...
my chalks turned out to be too soft and so I went on to use acrylics. Finally added some stamped embellishments to the edges. Actually I wanted to do pastel - but you know how things emerge......
Collaged and painted on canvas board.

We met at a friend´s home for a long weekend which included going to the Stempelmekka, the biggest German stamp convention in Hagen. We had so much fun stamping and chatting. My favorite collage techniques are all sorts of transfers of which I was glad to show some.
Here ´s the card I made(trying Distress Inks for the first time)
My first try at copying the fauvism style. The background is taken from one of the CM - challenges -
the lady must be a popular painting but I don´t remember who did it. I´ve used her in several paper collages and still like her. I used a lot of filters and have been painting with the mouse...
This was fun since I felt I hadn´t to be so precise as usual in digital work - lol - what is difficult with the mouse anyway. Most challenging was to give a final unified look to the image... I don´t really know if I succeded in this...
